Why invest in the French Riviera ?

The French Riviera spreads from St-Tropez through the Principality of Monaco to Menton on the Italian border, and is generally recognised as being among the most beautiful Mediteranean coastlines. The Epitome of Privileged regions, it englobes the whole of the Alpes-Maritimes district, and diplays an incredible succesion of top of the line holiday resorts such as: Nice, cannes, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, Mougins, Grasse, St-Paul-de-Vence, Villefranche-sur-Mer, St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Beaulieu, St-tropez, Ramatuelles, all of which have made the French Riviera famous amongst the amateurs of sunshine and... Glamour !

Very well connected thanks to its international airport, recently enlarged to adapt to low-cost demand, and only two hours flight away from most European capitals (Berlin, London, Madrid, Moscow), the French Riviera is blessed by a temperate climate in winter and an incredibly long warm summer. The unique natural beauty of its territory offers a particularly somptuous coastline and wild country side, protected on its western border by the lower slopes of the Alps.

Re-discovered in the XIXth century, the French Riviera progressively imposed itself as one of the favourite destinations of tourism worldwide. Local and international celebrities are now a common sight as in all seasons they stroll down to the numerous palaces and casinos along the coast.

And from the sole real estate point of view, the Riviera has a very wide offer on a pretty reactive and competitive market. Whatever your budget, you will certainly find the apartment or the villa to meet your expectations.

As the most visited region of France (after Paris), the French Riviera is also a renowned business centre which makes it, in any season, an excellent buy-to-let investment. To ensure orderly urbanisation of the coastline and sound management of our natural resources, the coastline protection law was recently re-enforced by strict decrees on planning permission in the area.

Real estate in the French Riviera has always been a sound investment, leading to practically guaranteed mid or long term profits. When one realises that prices in the area are a lot lower than for certain other European regions which are not necessaraly on the coastline, one wonders what people are waiting for !
